DYSLEXIA TUTORING AND SUPPORT
LITERACY INSTRUCTION THAT WORKS
Spark’s qualified tutors offer dyslexia support for children struggling with reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension. Through research- and evidence-based, multi-sensory, incremental, explicit curriculum, students learn to read, write, and spell confidently—while becoming aware of the extraordinary gifts and strengths that accompany dyslexia and the ways in which they can celebrate and cultivate these strengths.

Spark’s approach is rooted in the widely recognized and respected Orton-Gillingham method for teaching students who need explicit, structured literacy instruction and/or remediation.
HAPPY PARENTS,
CONFIDENT STUDENTS.
“Our three diagnosed dyslexic children have worked with Spark’s tutors over the past seven years in various capacities. Natasha has tutored them using the Barton Reading and Spelling System and Lauren supporting them with Math. They are patient, kind and make learning fun. Not only have they been instrumental in teaching my children to read, but they have become mentors and friends to them.”

MEET CARTER!
Carter is a former Spark student who now tutors our younger emerging readers!

He has proudly shared his experience and presented to fellow students about the strengths associated with learning differences and the power of learning to read in order to read to learn. We appreciate Carter’s warmth, humor, and professionalism. He quickly became an outstanding reading tutor, and we feel so fortunate to have him as a part of Spark's team of dyslexia specialists!
